How it all started...
In November of 1996, a group of people met to pray and to talk about their vision for a new ministry to the people of Williamson, West Virginia, and the surrounding Mingo County (WV), and Pike County (KY) communities. Living Water Church was founded to love God, above all, to love all people as he loves all people, and to bring all people together with God through the spreading of the good news of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Expanding the vision...
Living Water Church purchased the old Appalachian Power Company building and property on Williamson's East Second Avenue in 1999 as its permanent church location and opened Living Water Child Care as an expansion of ministry. A new Sanctuary was completed in 2009.

Where we are headed...
Living Water Church will continue to lead people of our community to a relationship with God and to give them a place to find family and to develop their own testimonies and gifts to serve others.
